I have been working with youth since 2003 and came to CCKV in 2005 after meeting my beautiful wife Jessie. I quickly discovered that CCKV was a special place full of real people in need of the Savior and that the Lord was doing a special work here. It wasn’t long before I started serving in multiple areas. I am currently a deacon serving the body wherever needed, as well as playing drums on the worship team. I have been working with the youth group here at CCKV since 2008 and have been serving as the main youth leader since 2015.
My heart for youth stems from a desire to see each student grow in their relationship with Christ, while developing a foundation of faith that keeps them close to Jesus into adulthood. It is my prayer that as each student reaches the end of high school, they have developed a strong Christian character and a desire to honor and serve the Lord in everything they do.
I enjoy spending time with my wife of almost 10 years and our 2 beautiful daughters. Being a dad has become my favorite hobby, but I also enjoy wake surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, disc golfing, and playing the drums.
